Short horror story by Dhriti V

Lately, in a city called Ladyhat, there were signs of invisible thieves. There was chaos in the city. A pair of young detectives, not more than the age of 10, decided to investigate. Soon they found the haunted house of the city. They went inside it, half scared. They decided to split up. After hours of searching, one of the detectives wanted a chair. He said ‘’I..puff..need a ..puff a …chair’’. He was about to sit on the ground when a chair touched his bottom. "Thanks", he said.  "You're welcome", it said. He sprang up from it immediately and said, "Agent Spook, is it you?"

At that moment, the detectives disappeared, never to be heard of again.
