Healthy cookies recipes

Wholewheat Cookies- By Dhanya
step - 1 -First pour ½ a cup of olive oil in a bowl.
step - 2 -Add1/4th cup of powdered jaggery.
step - 3- Mix it nicely and make sure that it has the proper consistency. You should have a creamy
texture.
step - 4 -Add 1 cup of wheat flour.
step - 5 -Add ½ teaspoon of baking powder.
step - 6- Add ¼ th teaspoon of baking soda.
step - 7- Add 1 pinch of salt.
step - 8- Add ¼ th teaspoon of cardamom powder
step - 9 -Mix the mixture properly and crumble.
step - 10- Add 3 tablespoons of milk.
step - 11-Mix and make it a dough. It should have a crumpled texture.
step - 12-Cut round shapes, sprinkle cut dry fruits on the cookie, and bake for 15 min at 160°C.
step - 13- Your wholewheat cookie is ready.

Wholewheat cookies - By Dhriti
Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour
Half cup powdered or melted jaggery
1 cup melted desi ghee
Half cup milk
Pinch of salt
Tutty fruity or dried fruits

Steps:
Mix the whole wheat flour, powdered or melted jaggery, a pinch of salt, tutty fruity or dried fruits, milk and desi ghee in a bowl.
Mix the ingredients well to get a dough. Roll it into a log or a cylinder.
Wrap it in aluminum foil. Place in refrigerator for 15 to 20 min.
Take a pressure cooker and spread salt on the base of the cooker. Cover with lid. Grease idli moulds with oil.
Take the dough. Cut into pieces. This is your raw cookie. Put it on your idli moulds. The cooker should have no whistle. Cover with lid.
Cook on the lowest flame. Wait for 10-15 min. let it cool down.

Wholewheat cookies- By Bhargav
Preheat the oven to 180 deg C for 10 minutes. Take 1/4 cup of almonds in a blender and
grind it to a fine powder.
2- In a mixing bowl, take the grounded almond flour and add 3/4 cup of wheat flour, salt, and
baking powder to it. Mix well.
3- Then take olive oil in a vessel. Add jaggery to it. Mix well.
4- Add the boiled milk to this mixture and mix it once again.
5- Add the dry ingredients to this oil-jaggery mixture. Start to mix the dough with your hands
gently until you get the soft dough consistency.
6- Add 1 to 2 tbsp. of milk if required.
7- Once the soft dough consistency is reached, keep the cookie dough in the refrigerator for 20
mins. In the meantime, line the cookie tray with a cookie sheet/parchment paper. After 10
mins, take the cookie dough from the refrigerator and start making balls and flatten it using
your palms.
8- Arrange the cookies on the parchment paper and garnish with sliced almonds. Bake in the
preheated oven for 15-20 minutes (baking time depends on the size of the cookies and
oven) at 180° C till cookies are browned at the bottom. Allow cooling in the tray for 5
minutes and serve the cookies.

Chocolate Chip Cookies- by Shaurya

Ingredients
  1. Unsalted butter, room temperature – ½ cup
  2. brown sugar – ¾ cup
  3. Wholewheat flour – 1 cup
  4. Baking soda – ½ tsp
  5. Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
  6. Milk, room temperature - 3 tbsp
  7. Chocolate chip – ½ cup (More the merrier!)
Instructions
1. Sieve whole wheat flour and baking soda. Keep aside.
2. Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl.
3. Add vanilla extract and milk to the creamed butter and sugar.
4. Now add the flour mixture and mix gently. Do not knead.
5. Last but not least add the chocolate chips and mix well.
6. Cling wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
7. Take the dough out and make small balls and flatten them with your hands.
8. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the rolled cookies.
9. Maintain a gap of 1 inch between the cookies.
10. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 12 minutes or until golden.
11. Take out the tray and let the cookies cool in the tray for 10 minutes.
12. They are ready after they are completely cooled. Enjoy them with milk!

Wholewheat cookies- By Advait
1. Sieve together wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees C for 10 minutes.
3.Grease your baking tray with a little oil.
4. Add powdered sugar or jaggery, cardamom powder to powdered flour and mix well with
your fingers.
5. Add cold milk (only as much as you need to make a dough) and make a smooth dough.
6. Refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes.
7. Dust the rolling board with flour, and then roll out the dough evenly 
8. Using a biscuit cutter or cookie cutter or bottle lid, cut it into desired shapes.
9. Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the biscuits start browning on the edges.
10. Remove from tray and leave it to cool.
11. Enjoy these healthy, guilt-free biscuits any time of the day.

Instructions:-
Step 1:- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit . Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 2:- In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder. Set aside.
Step 3:- Cream together ghee and jaggery until combined.
Step 4:- Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
Step 5:- Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
Step 6:- Roll the dough into balls and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets.
Step 7:- Bake in preheated oven for approximately 8-10 minutes. Take them out when they are just barely starting to turn brown.
Step 8:- Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing to a cooling rack.

Step 9:- Sit back and enjoy the cookies you have just made.

Ingredients
Whole Wheat flour - 1 ½ cup
Jaggery - ½ cup
Butter - ½ cup semi-solid form
Baking powder - ½ tablespoon
Milk - 3 tablespoons room temperature
Steps
1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees celsius for 10 minutes.
2. Put 1 ½ cup wholewheat flour in a bowl, mix with baking powder and set aside.
3. In another large bowl put ½ cup jaggery or brown organic sugar.
4. Put the ½ cup butter into the jaggery and mix it well with a whisk.
5. Add the flour mixture, milk into the butter jaggery mixture and mix it with your hand
until it becomes a dough.
6. Rest the dough for 10 minutes
7. Roll the dough with a roller so that it is flat.
8. Take an object which is round, small and sharp on the edges like a bowl
9. Press the bowl into the flat dough and turn. Keep doing this until there is no more
space. Keep the cookie aside on butter paper
10. Roll the remaining dough and press the bowl in again. Do this until there is no dough
remaining.
11. Take a fork and prick the cookies to make a design
12. Put the cookies in the oven for 16 minutes or 18 minutes if you want super crisp.
13. After 16 or 18 minutes take the cookies out and let them cool for 3 minutes.

14. Enjoy the cookies you have just made with a glass of milk.

Whole wheat cookies- by Ananya
Ingredients:
1. Whole wheat flour: 2 cups
2. Crushed Jaggery: ½ cup
3. Butter: ¼ cup
4. Baking soda: 1 Tsp
5. Crushed Dry fruits (Almond, Walnuts and Cashews): ¼ cup
6. Vanilla extract: 6-10 drops
7. Milk: half cup
8. Pinch of salt
Steps:
1. Mix the baking soda, wheat flour and salt.
2. Sieve the mixture two times.
3. Mix the jaggery and butter thoroughly until there are no
granules left.
4. Mix the wheat flour mixture with the jaggery and butter
mixture thoroughly.
5. Add milk slowly to the mixture to make a soft dough.
6. Add the crushed dry fruits to the dough.
7. Roll the dough of thickness of half centimeter on butter paper.
8. Cut the dough in shapes of your choice.
9. Heat the oven on 180 degree Celsius.
10. Spread the butter paper on the baking tray and arrange the
cookies on it.
11. Put the tray in the pre- heated oven and bake for 20 mins.
12. After baking them for 20 mins, cool them down 10 mins.

13. Now enjoy your delicious cookies!
